Energy Generation and Distributed Wind

Distributed Wind refers to wind turbines that generate electricity for interconnection at distribution voltage levels. This can be at a residence, farm, business, industry, community or school to offset the energy needs on site energy needs of one or more meters (including off site meters).

Our Expertise:

Development: Evaluating the wind resource and potential at a site, system design, and permitting

Installation: Foundation, Tower, Electrical design and installation

Maintenance: Continued O&M support through the life of the project

Siva Wind Turbine India Private Ltd.

SIVA Turbine at Brightly Farms distributed wind

Siva Windturbine India Private Limited was founded in Perundurai in 2005. It has continued to expand and develop successfully as part of the Siva group. The Siva Management is DIN EN ISO 9001 :2008 – Certified. The Siva 250/50 wind turbine is designed to produce a nominal electrical power output of 250 kW. The rotor diameter is 30 m, and power control is based on the stall principle. Even at inland sites with relatively low wind speed, the 250/50 attains high production levels due to its large rotor and correspondingly high tower. The SIva 250/50 is type certified and type tested per IEC 64100 standards.

Northern Power Systems

Northern Turbine at Triad Recycling

At 100 kilowatts of rated power, and a 24-meter rotor, the NPS 100 offers best in class annual energy production, safety and reliability for farms, businesses, schools and hospitals.

Originally developed with NASA and designed for remote and isolated sites, the NPS 100 has an innovative gearless direct drive, permanent magnet generator, best-in-class reliability, and pleasing aesthetics. NPS turbines begin making power at wind speeds as low as 3 meters per second (6 mph) and can provide clear economic benefits in all kinds of wind regimes, perfect for distributed wind.

The Hurricane Resistantâ„¢ NPS 100 has a flawless track record of surviving extreme winds, from the bitter colds of Alaska to the hurricanes of the Caribbean. Its advanced technology and over 4 million hours of cumulative run time makes them the most reliable and proven turbines in their class.

Eocycle

Eocycle

Founded in 2001 by Maxime Dubois, Eocycle celebrates 15 years of developing profitable and hassle-free wind turbine solutions. Their patented Transverse Flux Permanent Magnet (TFPM) generator technology allows them to produce more compact distributed wind turbines requiring fewer moving parts. They provide more power than competitor products at low rotational speeds, without the contribution of a gearbox.

Since 2013, the company has been managed by Richard Legault, a leader in the sector of large wind turbines. Since the arrival of Mr. Legault, Eocycle’s strategy has focused on developing the distributed energy market, where their EO20 and EO25 wind turbines (20 and 25 kW) stand apart from the competition, in offering the best financial performance of the industry.
